Photo Hunt - hanging

The theme for the week's Photo Hunt is hanging. Above is a windchime hanging from our rose arch.. The chimes were in motion at the time

I would have never guessed what it was if you hadn't told us. I like the way you shot it. Happy weekend.

Wow Unusual. We had to take ours down because they were too noisy. Need to find another spot for them.

That angle is making me feel very dizzy!!

That's a quite unusual perspective.

I would have never guessed what that was. It looks more like machinery than a wind chime. Cool shot!

And I read the post below about Woodhenge. That made the news here in the states too, and it's amazing that they are still discovering things like that. I would have thought that they had completely explored that place by now! I visited Stonehenge years ago, on Boxing Day, and it was closed so I could only look at it through the fence. I'd like to go back someday.

Interesting view... I have to find my wind chimes. Somehow it always feels cooler if the breeze catches the windchimes in my bedroom window.

I couldn't tell at first it's a windchime. I could understand why you took this chime in a different angle. Pretty good shot!

I almost did wind chimes and now I am glad I didn't. Your shot is so amazing, great perspective. And I like the monochrome treatment, it is just right for this shot.

I played today. http://healingmagichands.wordpress.com/2010/07/24/photohunt-hanging/

You had everybody fooled! I had to move my chimes indoors too when I bought a condo.

That is a cool but very bizarre photo. Kinda surreal also. I thought it might be a light socket at first but no idea it was a windchime. Very imaginative post.

PS: Sorry about the problems posting comments last week. My host was having problems. Thanks for stopping by.

You could use that shot for one of those "What am I?" puzzles. That's a great rose arch above.

Luckily you explained that to us, I had no clue to what it was looking at the photo before reading.

Happy weekend Jams.

I love wind chimes -- they remind me of the lazy, breezy summertime back in my hometown. Nice angle, it didn't look like a chime to me hadn't you explained so.

Happy weekend, Jams.
