That floats on high o'er vale and hill,
When all at once I heard a shout,
Get off my feckin' daffodils ..."

Spring has sprung early.

What a gorgeous photo - soft, yet immediate! I love the way the stem recedes, giving the impression that the blossom is standing out from the photo.

I recently posted photographs of an orchid show taken with large apertures, and while I got some with that shallow depth of field, I didn't quite get that off-the-page look.

Nice job!

It's so beautiful. And we're so far away from this in Toronto. I don't want to be overdramatic. But right now, with a cold wind, and maybe snow tonight, I don't think I'm going to make it to spring....Show me some more, Jams!

Delightfully sunny, in contrast to the temperature here.

I do so like your flower portraits - it's good to see them all in one place at your other site.
I would comment more often, Jams, but I do most of that from my mobile phone and it's not very good friends with Blogger comment pages.
